This collection of music-inspired illustrations was created for VinylCat Radio, a digital magazine and radio station that takes music seriously. The goal was to design a merch line that resonates with their audience—true music fanatics (such as myself). Each piece blends minimalist illustration with clever music-related phrases, drawing inspiration from vinyl culture, nostalgia, and the experience of living through sound. The aesthetic is a mix of retro and simple yet expressive graphics, perfect for t-shirts, tote bags, pins, and more. The inspiration came from vinyl culture, musical nostalgia, and the experience of living and breathing sound. The goal was to combine clever phrases with minimalist illustration, adding a touch of humor and a retro aesthetic.
